With the addition of two weekly flights to AlUla, Qatar Airways will now offer ten destinations in Saudi Arabia. The tour, which was arranged by a Qatari airline, highlighted Al Ula as a distinctive location that offers elegance, culture, and history. The high-ranking delegation comprised of the following: Badr al-Meer, CEO of Qatar Airways Group; Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al-Saud, Minister of Culture of Saudi Arabia; and Abeer al-Akel, Acting CEO of the Royal Commission for AlUla.

The delegation went to the city's Old Town, an architecturally stunning historic district with contemporary design. They went to many publishing businesses and the sustainable and biodiverse Oasis neighbourhood to learn about local literature and culture. To fully explore Al Ula's rich cultural legacy, the Minister from Qatar underlined the value of making investments in archaeological sites and improving accessibility. The trip demonstrated how history and modernity can coexist.
