Ekiti State Government has taken step to actualise the agro-allied cargo airport in the state. The airport, is aimed at boosting the state’s agricultural, tourism and educational endowment.
The State Government under the leadership of Dr Kayode Fayemi, has therefore, approved the engagement of a consultant for the design and supervision of the project.
A statement by the state’s Commissioner for Information and Value Orientation, Mr. Muyiwa Olumilua, on Monday in Ado-Ekiti, said the appointment of the consulting engineering firm was confirmed at the virtual meeting held by the Ekiti State Executive Council on June 11, 2020.
