The Federal Government of Nigeria has said it would announce a new date for flight resumption next week.
It stated that commercial flight operations remain suspended in the country as some gaps in the aviation sector need to be closed. The Director-General, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Captain Musa Nuhu, said this on Thursday during the briefing by the members of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
He stated further that a dry run test would be conducted in Lagos and Abuja airports on Saturday.
