Nigeria's Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN; Has on Tuesday, reacted to the statement from the CEO of ExecuJet Aviation Group the he mistook Nigerian singer, Naira Marley for him.
Fashola said in his statements, " it is ridiculous for airline to link me with Naira Marley".
Saying, in compliance to the Covid-19 movement restriction, "I have not travelled out of the federal capital territory FCT since 22 March".
The reaction came up after the CEO of ExecuJet tendered his apology to the Nigerian Government for operating charted fight from Lagos to Abuja saying he mistook one of the passengers, Naira Marley for him.
The operations of the airline were suspended by the federal government for flying the artiste to Abuja for a concert, in contravention of COVID-19 lockdown directives.
To link me with a controversial singer, taken to Abuja by a non-compliant airline, for a live concert is ridiculous. Fashola said.
