Dubai Residence Visa Holders Can Now Return After 6 Months Outside The UAE

Dubai's General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs(GDRFA) has clarified that valid Dubai residence visa holders, can easily return to the UAE as long as flight operations have resumed to the UAE from the country in which you are in.

According to Major General, Al-Marri who answered frequently asked questions related to Dubai immigration during COVID-19 says, returning residence are free to board any flight that operates in the UAE and not necessarily a Dubai based airline. Any flight operating to UAE can be used and the flight options are not limited to flights that land in Dubai alone. Residents are permitted to enter the country through any UAE Airports.

The residence visa holders are required to obtain approval from GDFRA before booking their flights.
