EgyptAir has announced the resumption of flights to Accra Ghana and Lagos, Abuja Nigeria later in the week. The steps taken by the airline follow the decision by Ghana and Nigeria Governments to reopen their borders for international flights on the 1st and 5th September respectively.
The Airline stated that it will operate three weekly direct flights to Nigeria starting 8 September and two weekly flights to Ghana starting 10 September.

EgyptAir has resumed flights to several international destinations since July after four months of lockdown declared by the government to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
EgyptAir has also announced the resumption of flights from Cairo to Moscow after the Russian government announced the resumption of international flight services.
The airline also added that passengers must present a negative Covid-19 test result certificate before they can be airlifted.
