Middle East giant, Emirates airline has announced its plans to restart Nigerian operations from September 7. This follows the Federal Government's decision to reopen Nigeria's airspace to international flight operations from Saturday, September 5.
The airline says it will resume the first flight to Lagos on Monday, 7 September, followed by Abuja, on the 9 September.The resumption of flights to Nigerian cities expands Emirates' network to 13 destinations in Africa. The airline says is committed to helping its customers travel safely and confidently, implementing industry-leading health and safety measures at all points of the travel journey.
Flights to Lagos will operate four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while Abuja flights will operate as a daily service.
Passengers traveling from both cities in Nigeria to America, Europe, Middle East, and the Asia Pacific can enjoy safe and convenient connections via Dubai, and customers can stopover or travel to Dubai as the city is reopened for international business and leisure visitors.
Covid-19 PCR tests are mandatory for all inbound and transit passengers arriving in the UAE, including the citizens, residents, and tourists, irrespective of their countries of departure. This is to ensure the safety of travelers.
