Dubai is a major city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Once a desert outpost, now one of the top-rated countries on people's to-go list in the world. Dubai is a land of glitz flocked by tourists for various reasons such as family vacations, business, immigration purposes, and much more.

One of the most famous attractions of tourists in Dubai is the Burj Khalifa. Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world and Dubai's most prominent landmark. The Bastakia Quarters(old Dubai) also referred to as Al-Fahidi neighborhood is a majestic relic of the 19th-century era in Dubai. The Arabian architecture is located in the eastern part of Bur Dubai and was home to wealthy Persian merchants who dealt in pearls and textiles back then. The Bastakia also houses the Majlis Gallery where you find various collections of traditional Arab furniture and ceramics. You will also find the Al Serkal Cultural Foundation located in the Bastakia Quarters as well as an art exhibition center, a shop, and a cafe.

Another tourist attraction center in Dubai is the Dubai Creek and Al Seef District. This creek divides Dubai into two, to the North lays Deira while Dur Dubai is to the South. The Dhow Wharfage is also located along the creek where you can watch cargo activities take place. You can also get an invitation from one or two of the Dhow workers to tour the vessels and learn about the traditional dhow workers.
