Air Peace airline has announced the resumption of flight services to Dubai after a year-long hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The airline which halted all its local and international flights a year ago following a government directive confirmed on Wednesday that flights will resume back to Dubai, UAE from February 5, and will be operating a weekly service in both directions.
It should be noted that while the service is marketed as a flight to Dubai, passengers actually land in Sharjah and then take a bus to Dubai.
Yesterday, Air Peace officially made its decision to return to Dubai via Sharjah from February 5 known. The route will operate only once a week for now, down from the previous three flights a week between Lagos and Dubai.
