Airlines operators across the country have been urged to commence catering services on both local and international flights.
Nigeria's Minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika disclosed on Monday saying, all airlines operating in Nigeria should commence catering services with immediate effect.
The Minister said that the decision to bring back the catering services was taken into consideration because of the businesses that have been adversely affected by the suspension.
According to him, "the processes and procedures for the resumption of the services would be revealed by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), which will be in line with international practices."
He added that the reopening of Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, the Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu, and the Port Harcourt International Airport for international flights was sacrosanct.
"A simulation exercise would be conducted prior to the opening to ascertain the level of preparedness," Sirika said
