Qatar Airways has exempted 13 countries from its list of countries that require an RT-PCR test before travelling with the airline.
Passengers from 13 countries on the list do not need to present a negative test report before boarding. The airline says.
The airline previously required all passengers to produce a negative RT-PCR test report before boarding.
The countries exempted from the test before departing are:
Armenia, Bangladesh, Brazil, India, Iran, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia,
Sri Lanka, and Tanzania.
The airline says it will continue its commitment to getting clients safely where they need to be.
"To keep you up to date with the latest rules and regulations, please be informed that with immediate effect Qatar Airways will no longer require passengers to present a negative RT-PCR test report when departing from these 13 countries where this requirement was implemented previously. Any government regulation imposed or required by the destination or transit country will continue to apply,” the carrier says.
