After three months of suspension, Air peace has announced that it will resume Lagos - Johannesburg, South Africa flight operations from October 17.
Air Peace suspended its Lagos and Johannesburg operations in June in line with the federal government’s travel restriction due to the surge in South Africa's coronavirus cases.
According to the Airline’s Spokesman, Stanley Olisa in a statement on Tuesday 5 October, “the airline will be operating two-weekly flights between Lagos and Johannesburg, Thursdays and Sundays, with the luxury wide-body Boeing 777.”
“We are happy to announce to our teeming customers the resumption of our Johannesburg service, the flights would be operated in strict compliance with established COVID-19 protocols,” Olisa stated in a statement
However, Olisa implored the flying public to follow all the stipulated guidelines for international flights, and also he reiterated Air Peace’s commitment to observing the highest standards of safety.
