The country still has quite strict rules as the fights against covid continue and the rules have been extended till July 2022.
France's government has introduced a health pass which sets out the rules.
According to the French government, "The health pass is implemented as part of the national reopening plan. It makes it possible to limit the risks of pandemic spread, to minimize the probability of contamination in risky situations and therefore the pressure on the healthcare system while allowing certain activities or places to be kept open in addition to the health protocols specific to each individual sector.”
The French government in March introduced a rule stating the passengers must prove their Covid vaccination status, and proof of a negative test or proof of recovery to access events with more than 50 people attending.
This changed to a wider group of activities, as well as some public transport March.
Unvaccinated visitors will only be allowed into France for exceptional reasons.
"They will need to provide an international travel certificate, a completed ‘sworn statement' stating they are not suffering from symptoms associated with coronavirus, have not been in contact with confirmed cases in the preceding two weeks, and that they will self-isolate for seven days after arrival." The government says.
Those who are 12 years and above will also need to provide a negative test taken within 24 hours of departure. The government added.
