Emirates Extends Suspension Of Flight From Nigeria To The UAE.
Emirates Airlines has again extended the suspension of its flight operations between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates.
Despite the efforts of the Federal Government to resolve the Covid Test-related issues and restore the operations of Emirates Airlines back to the country, the carrier says it will not resume Nigeria flight operations until the end of November.
This was disclosed by the airline through its official website.
According to the airline, “customers who have been to or connected through Nigeria in the last 14 days will not be permitted on any Emirates flights bound for Dubai,”
Meanwhile, the chairman of Nigeria’s presidential steering committee on COVID-19 Mukhtar Muhammad has disclosed that Emirates and Nigeria have agreed on some guidelines and are waiting to finalize agreements.
“They have met some of our requirements, and we are just waiting for one confirmation,” Muhammad said at a media briefing at the FCT on Monday.
