With three new connections and 27 destinations, including
Minneapolis, Minnesota; Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina;
Seattle; Johannesburg; and Hong Kong, Lufthansa Airlines is increasing its
service between Frankfurt and Munich to the United States starting in summer
2024. With this addition, there will be many more flights out of Frankfurt as a
result of the Corona coronavirus epidemic.
Starting on June 4, 2024, Lufthansa Airlines will operate five flights per week to Minneapolis, Minnesota. With its many national parks and a chance to experience the northern lights, the city offers both urban refinement and outdoor adventures. Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, will be the second destination after Charlotte that the airline will start serving on June 6, 2024. Due to the presence of numerous German businesses in the region, this is especially intriguing for business travellers. Hyderabad, India, will continue to get five weekly flights as of June 6, 2024, as part of the summer flying schedule.
Lufthansa is adding Seattle, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, and
South Africa to its summer flight schedule. On May 30, 2024, the Airbus A350
will start operating daily flights between Munich and Seattle, tripling the
number of flights. Following the outbreak, numerous weekly flights will resume
to Hong Kong. On June 3, 2024, three weekly A350 flights from Johannesburg will
depart for South Africa. Up to six weekly flights will be offered to Bangalore,
India, during the summer. With six A380s based in Munich, Lufthansa will be
able to fly to twice as many A380 destinations, including Delhi, Boston, Los
Angeles, and New York (JFK). The A380 fleet will include eight aircraft by
2025.
