Delta
Air Lines has made changes in its flight schedule between Lagos Nigeria and Atlanta Georgia, USA. The changes which have taken effect on October 4, 2023, are to prepare for the holiday season.
Passengers from Lagos will now depart from Lagos at 1:00 p.m. and arrive in at Atlanta 8:55 p.m. Departure from Atlanta now is 6:15 p.m. while arrival time in Lagos is 11:00 a.m.
Delta offers a daily flight from Lagos to Atlanta and over 200 onward connections across the United States and beyond.
According to Delta’s Regional Sales
Manager Africa, Jimmy Eichelgruen, “Nigeria is a key destination for Delta and,
with strong customer demand between Lagos and Atlanta, we are delighted to offer
more seats and a newly timed schedule between Lagos and the United States this
upcoming holiday season.
“Lagos is a key destination for Delta and
its leading hub in Atlanta is the world’s leading hub and gateway to the Americas.”
During the Christmas and New Year
holiday season, Deltas plans to modernise its Airbus A350-900 fleet, adding 166
daily seats between December 16, 2023, and January 14, 2024.
