The 12th International Flotation Conference (Flotation ’25), organised by MEI in consultation
With Prof. Jim Finch, it is a four-day event bringing together leading experts, researchers, and
industry stakeholders in the field of mineral flotation. Supported by a wide range of sponsors
including Promet101, Metso, Eriez, Glencore Technology, and Thermo Fisher Scientific, with
media partners, International Mining and Minerals Engineering, and advocacy from the Critical
Minerals Association, the conference will highlight both fundamental and applied aspects of
flotation.
Key themes include reagent and flotation chemistry, bubble-particle interactions, and flotation cell
hydrodynamics and scale-up, plant operations and process mineralogy challenges, circuit design
and optimisation, flotation machine innovation, applications across metallic, non-metallic, and
coal flotation, as well as the environmental dimensions of flotation practice.
