The Washington DC Conference on Education (WCE2026) will be coming up from April 15–20, 2026.

Held alongside its sister event, The Washington DC Conference on the Social Sciences

(WCSS2026), This  international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary gathering provides a unique

platform for educators, researchers, policymakers, and thought leaders to engage in critical

dialogue, share cutting-edge research, and explore new approaches in the field of education.

Hosted at the prestigious Walter E. Washington Convention Center, the conference promises

keynote addresses, research presentations, workshops, and panel discussions, fostering

collaboration and knowledge exchange across borders and disciplines.

By bringing together voices from academia, industry, and government, WCE2026 seeks to

address the pressing challenges and opportunities shaping global education today.

Call for Papers – WCE2026

The Washington DC Conference on Education (WCE2026) invites submissions of original

research, case studies, work-in-progress, and innovative practices from scholars, researchers,

educators, and professionals worldwide.

The Conference Programme Committee welcomes papers from a wide range of interdisciplinary

and theoretical perspectives, ensuring rich and diverse academic discussions.

Submissions are encouraged in (but not limited to) the following areas:

 Teaching & Learning

Pedagogical approaches, classroom innovations, student engagement, and assessment

practices.

 Educational Structures

Curriculum development, institutional design, governance, and comparative education

systems.

 Community & Society

Education’s role in social change, diversity and inclusion, equity, and community

engagement.

 Language & Culture

Multilingual education, cross-cultural communication, language acquisition, and cultural

studies.


 Psychology, Mind & Brain

Cognitive development, educational psychology, neuroscience, and well-being in

education.

 Innovation & Technology

E-learning, artificial intelligence in education, digital classrooms, and emerging

technologies.

 Special Themes and Areas of Focus

Addressing contemporary global challenges in education, with emphasis on

sustainability, leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

 Full papers reporting on completed research

 Abstracts or work-in-progress papers

 Case studies, projects, or practice-based presentations

All accepted and registered papers will be included in the conference proceedings, with selected papers.

Works considered for publication in IAFOR journals.
