In the wake of the most dismal passenger arrival number since records were first kept, Japan is attempting to kick-start tourism again, with subsidized holidays. The Japan Tourism Agency has proposed paying foreigners half the cost of taking a holiday in Japan
Hiroshi Tabata. the boss of the Japan Tourism Agency, told a media event on Wednesday that he’d developed a subsidy plan that will enable foreigners pay just half of the total cost for their holidays. According to him, this development will entice travelers back to Japan and will be commencing in July.
