Contrary to the earlier report this month, that German airline group will begin operation slowly, reactivating its network, following over a month of limited flight operations due to the effect of Covid-19, The German airline has taken steps further by expanding its network. Lufthansa group will be resuming flight operations to 20 more destination in June, in a bid to bounce back from the Corona virus. Some of the 20 cities include summer holiday destinations across Europe such as Ibiza and Malaga. Other destinations include : Malloca, Heraklion(crete), Rhodes, Faro and Venice.
The remaining 13 destinations will be announced as soon as possible. After announcing that the Lufthansa Group will end repatriation flights from may ending, the German carrier has been quick to come up with a robust schedule for June.
Lufthansa will double its operational flights from 80 to 160 to accommodate the expansion. The flights will depart from the carrier’s central hub, Frankfurt.
