The Federal Executive Council FEC has approved N1.7b for consultancy services for the construction of a second runway at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja. Currently, the airport has one runway.
The minister of aviation, Hadi Sirika disclosed the approval while briefing state house reporters after the virtual meeting of the council presided by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The said amount covers services for the design of the runway. A consortium of consultants would be included. The minister said in a statement.
