You may not be expecting to find Mozambique in our list of top to-go countries for Nigerians. However, Mozambique is also a viable choice when looking for new countries to go for a vacation or immigrate to. The first essential fact that makes Mozambique an excellent destination for Nigerians is that you can visit the country without the hassles of visa processing.


Besides easy access to the country, there are other essential features. Mozambique boasts of a low cost of living, which means you will be able to afford necessities and even extra without making a huge hole in your pocket or breaking the bank.

As a result of its rich colonial history, Mozambique features a multicultural society in which there is representation from cultures from the indigenes, Portugal, China, and India. However, there is a peaceful and harmonious relationship and interaction amongst these cultures.

The climate in Mozambique is tropical and warm with a dry, cooler season from May until October and a wet,  season from November until April. The Dry season corresponds with winter and the Wet season summer it is at the opposite time of winter and summer in Europe and North America. The country can also be windy sometimes.

June to October is the dry season, with often perfect tropical weather, clear skies, and almost no rain. This is the best time for most people to visit Mozambique.

Mozambique is also famous for its cuisines, especially the fresh seafood and other dishes like the Portuguese Peri-Peri.

Lastly, Mozambique is peaceful, and as a foreigner finding jobs is not difficult. Several local and international companies offer foreigners jobs as long as you have a unique skill set, and you are ready to work.
