ZANZIBAR Re-opens Airspace

Ungujar.Zanzibar has been open for tourism and international travels.
After two months of suspended activities by the government in order to curb the spread of corona virus, Zanzibar has been reopened for visitors.

Mr Mohmound Thabit Kombo, the country's Information, Tourism and Heritage minister have made it known yesterday, that government has decided to reopen the stone town and a dazzling coastline sandy beaches and colourful coral reefs which had been abandoned due to the outbreak of corona virus pandemic.
Public health authorities have managed to contained the spread of the virus, warranting the resumption of international flights to allow visitors from across the world to come to Zanzibar, an Island where tourism is the largest economic sector and essential for socio-economic stability. Mr Thabit Kombo said in a statement.

We have closed all businesses since march, because of Covid-19 crises. Now that everything has been put under control, the government has communicated with travel agencies across the world to start flying tourists to the Indian Ocean Archipelago.
"We welcome every visitor wishing to come to Zanzibar". The would be visitors will have to adhere strictly to corona virus preventive measures. Body temperature will be checked at the point of entry, it would be mandatory for all visitors to wear face masks at all time and also observe physical distancing measures. Mr Thabit Kombo said.
