Airlines Set To Take Off On 8 July

Following the Federal Government’s decision to reopen airspace for commercial flights from Wednesday July 8, some airlines have shown readiness to return to the sky.


Arik Air,  Air Peace, DANA Air, AZMAN Air and Max Air already have Lagos-Abuja, Abuja-Lagos schedules  from 8 July.
The resumption follows their compliance with the safety, health and other guidelines rolled out by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
“Passengers have been assured of their safety and well-being at every stage of their trip as measures have been put in place by the airlines as recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO), International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and Nigerian Government.
Passengers are advised to be at the airport on time, in order to undergo all travel processes on time before the departure of their flights. It is also advisable for passengers to get their tickets ready before proceeding to the airport.
Travellers should adhere strictly to all rules in relation to social distancing, using face masks and hand sanitizers provided at the arrival and departure halls of the airports.
