Ethiopian Airlines Plane Catches Fire At Shanghai Airport

A dramatic moment, a huge plane bursts into a fire at the airport as smoke fills runway.

An Ethiopian airline plane, Boeing 777F has caught fire at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The aircraft had flown in from Brussels overnight, touching down in China this morning. The cause of the fire is not yet known but under investigation. Nobody is thought to be hurt.

The Boeing-777F was carrying cargo when flames ripped through the hull of the aircraft.

Shocking video footage shows ground staff watching as smoke and flames pour from the plane - seven years after an almost identical fire in London.

The plane was not carrying any passengers but reports have still not clarified if any crew members were on board.
As at the time of the report, firefighters were already on the scene attempting to get the blaze under control.
