FG Lifts Ban On Airline That Flew Naira Marley To Abuja For Concert

The federal government of Nigeria has lifted the ban it placed on the Executive Jets Services Ltd. an aviation company that operated the flight that took musician, Azeez Fashola widely known as Naira Marley to Abuja for a concert in June.

FG had on June 15 suspended the airline indefinitely for violating restrictions placed on interstate movement and closure of airports at the time.
The flight at the time was also approved for another purpose, which is to convey a serving judge from Lagos to Abuja and back to Lagos for an official assignment.

Nigeria's Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, announced the lifting of the ban placed on Executive Jets Services Limited at the briefing on the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Monday 28 July in Abuja.
Sirika said the ministry decided to lift the ban following the compliance of the airline with sanctions imposed on it.
