Latest Update: Passengers From 29 Countries To Be Tested Twice Starting August 1 - Dubai

According to the new UAE rule, passengers arriving from certain countries to be double-tested as from 1, August.



From August 1, 2020, all passengers traveling to Dubai, including passengers connecting in Dubai, must have a negative COVID-19 test certificate, according to the latest guidelines issued by Emirates.
“The test must be taken a maximum of 96 hours before departure. This excludes children under the age of 12 years and passengers who have a moderate or severe disability.”


However, passengers from a set of 29 countries will also be required to take a second test upon arriving in the UAE.
The countries are:
Afghanistan, Armenia, Brazil, Bangladesh, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq,  Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Montenegro, NIGERIA.
Others are; Pakistan, Philippines, Russian Federation, Serbia, Somalia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, and Turkmenistan,
Some destinations in the USA like Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Orlando (MCO), including passengers originating from California, Florida, and Texas connecting to an Emirates flight from any of our airports worldwide to Dubai are included.
And lastly, Uzbekistan.
