Local airline operators in the country have canceled their Lagos bound flights and other connected destinations. The development follows the 24-hour curfew declared in Lagos state and other parts of the country by the state governors.
This announcement was made available on Tuesday's press release by the airline operators. Saying,
"this is to inform all our Lagos bound Passengers that all flights are hereby canceled till further notice. This is due to the directive issued by Lagos State Government to impose a 24-hours Curfew on all parts of Lagos starting from 4pm today, Tuesday 20, October. We deeply regret all Inconveniencies.” It stated.
Airlines that canceled their flights include Arik Air, Air Peace, and Azman air.
A statement by the Airline operators stated that passengers who have already booked flights can reschedule such flights at no extra cost when the operations resume.
