Activities may paralyze at London Heathrow Airport as workers are planning to embark on strike on Tuesday, December 1 over a pay cut.
Unite the union is also preparing to embark on industrial action on 14, 17, and 18 December. Unite workers threaten to embark on strike over claims that the airport is seeking to fire and rehire its 4,000 workers on reduced pay.
Although Heathrow has insisted that the planned industrial action may not affect activities at the airport as there are no pre-planned flight schedule amendments for any of the dates.
It added that there will be no disruption to passengers' journeys as the UK will still be under lockdown on Tuesday, December 1.
Organizers say that Heathrow is trying to force workers to accept permanent pay cuts of up to £8,000 per year, a quarter of their total pay.
