Emirates Extends Suspension Of Nigeria Flights Until March 10

UAE's national carrier, Emirates Airlines has extended the suspension of flight services from Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria to the UAE from February 28 to March 10, 2021.


The airline on Sunday, February 14 made it known through its official website. According to the carrier, passenger services from Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja) to Dubai are temporarily suspended until 10 March 2021. It says the suspension is in line with the government's directives.

Customers from both Abuja and Lagos will not be accepted for travel before or including this date. Passengers who have been to or connected through Nigeria in the last 14 days are not allowed entry into the UAE (whether terminating in or connecting through Dubai).

Emirates flights from Dubai to Lagos and Abuja will continue to operate as per the normal schedule.

We regret the inconvenience caused, and the affected passengers should contact their booking agents or the carrier's call center for rebooking. The carrier said

The airline which has suspended passenger services between Dubai and all the UK points until further notice reassured its customers of its commitments to serve them as it looks forward to resuming passenger services to Dubai for customers when conditions allow.
