UAE Suspends Flights To And From Nigeria Till Further Notice

The United Arab Emirates has announced the suspension of all flights to and from Nigeria till further notice. 


According to the reports, the decision to suspend Nigeria's flight operations by the UAE is in line with National Emergency Crises and Disaster Management Authority and General Civil Aviation Authority directives. 

The UAE national carrier, Emirates airline has earlier announced that it will resume passengers' flight services to and from Nigeria from the 20th of March.

The decision to resume Nigeria's flight service operation by Emirates airline has now changed after the carrier disclosed the new development through its official website on Thursday 18th of March. The carrier says: "In line with government directives, passenger flights to and from Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja) are suspended with effect from 18 March 2021 until further notice."

"Customers traveling to and from Lagos and Abuja will not be accepted for travel."

"We regret the inconvenience caused, and affected customers should contact their booking agent or Emirates call center for rebooking. Emirates remains committed to Nigeria, and we look forward to resuming passenger services when conditions allow." It stated.
