Turkey authority has released a new travel update for travelers planning to visit the country.
Turkish national carrier, Turkish airline made this known through a memo it sent to travel operators across the nation. According to the airline, "passengers traveling to Turkey with our international flights (except transfer passengers and passengers under 6 years old) and will enter to Turkey, must submit online Ministry Of Health Of Turkey Traveler Entry Form via https://register.health.gov.tr/ within last 72 hours prior to their flights. Print out or the mobile screenshot of the filled form will have to be submitted to the airline crew before boarding.
In the meantime, there is also a new development for both new and returning international students in the Republic of Northern Cyprus. Cyprus released a new update for students shortly after it announced the reopening of its borders on the 15th of August for international travelers.
The new update says that "all student passengers going to The Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) either as active students or going to register for the first time, are required to pay for their quarantine fees and show the receipt before traveling to TRNC."
Travelers who are coming from Dark Red and Grey category are required to undergo a 14-day mandatory quarantine period upon arriving in TRNC. (Nigeria falls under the category of Dark Red).
The 14-day quarantine fee is 5,400TL (640 USD) per person.
