Spain has further extended the travel ban it placed on non-essential travels until at least the end of October.
According to the Spanish Ministry of Interior, the travel ban on non-essential travel from the majority of third countries which has been in place since June has now been extended until the end of October.
The ministry says that "the travel ban is extendable if the Ministry sees it necessary in order to keep in control the Coronavirus situation in the country."
"The decision has been announced by the same Ministry, and the decision for the prolongation of the ban has also been published in BOE – which is the official gazette of the Spanish Government." It says.

Travellers must have taken the second dose of the vaccine at least 14 days before entering the country. must have passed since the final shot took place.
Meanwhile, the authority in Spain says that only travellers from third countries can enter Spain for non-essential purposes, regardless of their vaccination status. The following is a list of third-country that can enter Spain irrespective of their vaccination status.
