Virgin Atlantic has announced its decission to resume flight services to more destinations in the United States from Novermber 8 as the US sets to reopen to the fully vaccinated.
According to the airline, flights from Heathrow and Manchester airports to Orlando will resume, flights will also resume from Heathrow to Las Vegas, and more flights will resume from Heathrow to New York.
The carrier disclosed that At Manchester, Virgin will restart both services ahead of new entrant Aer Lingus, which commences flights to New York on 1 December and Orlando on 11 December
The flight from Orlando will depart from Heathrow and Manchester Daily.
“The route is currently the most booked across Virgin Atlantic’s global portfolio, reaffirming the pent-up demand for families and thrill-seekers to enjoy the magic of Florida’s top destination.” The airline says.
According to Virgin Atlantic chief commercial officer, Juha Jarvinen, “Our customers are ready to begin their US adventures, whether it’s to enjoy the magic of Orlando or to party the night away in Las Vegas, therefore it’s only right that we offer them the opportunity to fly as soon as we can.”
“I’m delighted that our Orlando and Las Vegas services will begin on 8 November, the same day transatlantic travel reopens. We can’t wait to transport customers to our favorite destinations in the US safely once more.” Jarvinen added.
The airline offers unlimited free date and flight changes for new bookings and rebooking has been extended for every passenger until 30 April 2023.
