Amadeus IT Group and Delta Airlines have entered a new global distribution agreement.
The new agreement which was made known through a travel platform will provide a series of travel options for passengers.
Delta Airline disclosed that the agreement will give users of Amadeus Travel Platform access to an optimized display that provides expanded product options on all flights, including qualities and auxiliary services. The agreement will also enhance customers’ choices and allow the airline and its travel agency to deliver valuable and relevant content for travelers.
According to Delta Airlines Managing Director of Global Distribution, Jeff Lobl, “We commend Amadeus for its commitment to innovation. Aligning the travel distribution ecosystem with value-creation and shopping display improvements that will benefit all customers in their channels of choice.”
“This agreement completes the transformation of Delta’s distribution partnerships as we work together to elevate the customer experience in our indirect channels,” Lobl added.
Meanwhile, The Amadeus Travel Platform offers the widest range of content across multiple channels, which gives travel sellers and buyers access to Delta’s various products through a range of front–end solutions, including Amadeus Selling Platform Connect, Amadeus Web Services, and the Cytric self-booking and expense solution.
Amadeus Executive Vice President, Javier Laforgue said in a statement that “We are pleased to continue this collaboration with Delta, further solidifying our long-standing partnership to power great journeys together.”
