Authorities in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia have ended all Covid-19 rules in the country. The country says all coronavirus restrictions including social distance and wearing face masks in open places will no longer be effective.
The new development which has come into force from Saturday, March 5 was made known by an official source at the ministry of interior in Saudi Arabia. Visitors arriving in the country with any type of visit visa will only be required to get the insurance that will cover the costs of treatment from coronavirus in case they get infected, the source disclosed.
The country however announced the lifting of the suspension it placed on direct flights and arrival of passengers to the Kingdom from Nigeria, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, Malawi, Mauritius, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, United Republic of Comoros, Ethiopia, and Afghanistan.
