The evacuees came in three batches and landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
According to the report, the first batch of 450 stranded Nigerians in Ukraine arrived aboard Max Air flight 747 at 7:10AM on Friday via Romania, while the second batch came aboard Air Peace Boeing 777-300 flight (APK7534) arrived in Abuja with 183 passengers including some little children via Warsaw.
It was gathered that the third batch of 174 evacuees arrived in the middle of the night on Friday/Saturday via Hungary.
The federal government has promised to do everything possible to effectively evacuate the citizens back home safely.
