The worldwide system of the French national carrier, Air France is to be reopened again after a busy summer season. The airline says it will connect up to 171 locations in the 2022–2023 winter season, comprising 85 short- and medium-haul and 86 long-haul routes.
On 12 Boeing 777-300 ERs, Air France is introducing a unique Business Class seat that can be turned into a bed that is over 2 meters long. It is now able to fully separate the seating area and keep it apart from the rest of the cabin. The initial flight to New York-JFK will come soon.
Beginning on December 12th, 2022, Air France will operate a
daily non-stop service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York's Newark
Liberty Airport (EWR). This will be an addition to the "Shuttle"
service that now connects Paris with New York-John F. Kennedy (JFK) with six
daily flights operated by Air France and two by Delta Air Lines.
On October 30, 2022, Air France will start operating its
canceled flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Cape Town again, suspended since the COVID crisis started. Air France makes seven
weekly flights to Johannesburg, South Africa, and Cape Town.
A daily Airbus A320 flight on a direct flight between Paris-Orly
and Casablanca has been launched by carrier. The seasonal flight between
Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Rovaniemi, Finland, will begin again this year on
November 27. Nice-London Heathrow (UK) will start operating yearly on the same day.
During the winter season, flights between Paris-Orly and Oran will be increased, in addition to the summer routes Marseille-Algiers, Algeria and Toulouse-Tunis, Tunisia
