The Immigration Office of New Zealand has announced that the Spain Working Holiday Scheme started operations in November and is adding 200 additional employee seats.
Reopening the Spain Working Holiday Visa will guarantee that this year's implementation of the 2022 announcement to double the cap for all programs. The authority stated in the news that this program now has 400 openings, with half of those openings being disclosed in April 2022. Additionally, the 200 spots restored earlier this year have already been filled.
“They
will all have re-opened by early December 2022. This will ensure each country
gets the benefit of this year’s allocation. This could mean up to 12,000 more
working holidaymakers may come to New Zealand over the next 12 months,” the
press release stated.
The new visas extend the holder's ability to enter New
Zealand by three months. These adjustments include a six-month extension for
working vacationers whose permits expire between August 26, 2022, and May 31,
2023.
To boost the entrepreneurial ecosystem,
Spain's Congress of Deputies enacted the Law for the Promotion of the Emerging
Companies Ecosystem. The nation intends to introduce a Digital Nomad visa for
independent contractors beginning in January 2023.
