Air Peace Limited, the fastest-growing airline in Africa, has disclosed its readiness to commence Mumbai, India flight operations come March 31, 2023.
Mrs. Ifeoma Ekwerike, head of commercial and business development, who represented Oluwatoyin Olajide, the chief operating officer of the airline in a meeting with some members of travel agents across the country thanked the association for their support so far, adding that the airline was beginning an assertive route expansion to reduce the difficulty of travel for Nigerians and also increase seamless connectivity.
According to her, "the airline has several routes in the works." Mumbai is launching on March 31, 2023.
"Tel Aviv, Malabo, Congo Kinshasa, Lome, and other regional destinations
have been planned for commencement, and announcements will be made once the arrangements are finalized."
"Passengers
can connect to Mumbai through Lagos from Kano, Monrovia, Abuja, Accra, Port
Harcourt, and Douala," She added.
Air Peace's
Head Pilot, Captain Martin Okunpolor, said that the company would be making
direct, nonstop flights to Mumbai. "As the Mumbai operations get going,
the Delhi operations will follow," he added. He said that the airline's wide-body,
high-end Boeing 777 aircraft would be used on the trip. The
airline, Air Peace, has previously performed special charter flights to India
during COVID-19; therefore, he stated that the idea is to start with
two weekly trips.
