Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) have established an initiative, "An Immigration System for Canada's Future," urging Canadians and other stakeholders to contribute their thoughts on how to create a stronger and more flexible immigration system.
The effort aims to build communities and support Canada's economy by developing contemporary, adaptable, and coordinated policies and initiatives that address the country's social, economic, and cultural requirements. It started in February with a face-to-face discourse session presided over by Canadian Immigration Minister Sean Fraser and is anticipated to include additional dialogue meetings, thematic workshops, and a poll for the general public and customers.
In the survey, individuals are
asked their initial impressions of the country's immigration policies, whether
they believe the Canadian government is handling immigration well or
incorrectly, and how many immigrants they believe are coming to Canada. Important
Canadian immigration trends, including an aging population and a labor deficit,
are also highlighted. Other topics covered include Canada's response to a
worldwide humanitarian crisis, the fairness and openness of the immigration
system, and the participation of federal, provincial, and territorial
stakeholders in the selection and integration of newcomers.
