Saudi Arabia introduced a new temporary work visa that
enables businesses to issue a visa for three months with the potential for an extension. Enterprises must fulfill certain requirements and be aware of the
cancellation and refund policy to be eligible. A similar amount of
time can be added to the visa's validity.
The temporary work visa application procedure can be completed easily and quickly online. The temporary work visa service must be chosen from the list of e-services, the business owner or a Qiwa commissioner must submit the request, and the business account must be logged in. The online work visa will be given immediately through the Qiwa website after the request has been submitted, without needing papers.
The business must be active and have a current commercial
registration, Nitaqat must be at a medium green level, and businesses sharing a
unified number must have enough credit in their national unified number on
Absher and no expired work licenses. Insufficient funds in the unified number
of the enterprise on the Absher account, denial from the Ministry of Interior,
or revocation of the visa are all reasons for the rejection of a visa. The primary
cause is an insufficient balance in the enterprise's unified number on the
Absher account.
The Qiwa temporary work visa service allows for the
revokement of granted visas and for the enterprise to be credited for any
government fees. The owner of the business or a commissioner must sign into
their Qiwa account, choose the "Balance Requests" option, click the
"Cancel Package" button, and then confirm cancellation to submit a
refund request. The amount will be reimbursed to the business's account
within a specific time frame. The package cannot be refunded after 30 days and
the remaining funds must be spent within a year of purchase. Transferring a
visa balance to another business is not allowed for applicants. Qiwa customer
service staff can help with the refund process.
