United Airlines has increased its frequencies by 25% to meet the
increasing demand for travel outside the US. This summer's schedule includes 25
new routes and international bookings are already 15% higher than in the same
period in 2022.
United Airlines has launched daily service between New York/Newark and Dubai, UAE, on a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. This is part of a historic commercial agreement between the airline and Emirates that will give customers easier access to hundreds of destinations. United is the only U.S. airline to offer non-stop flights to Dubai from the U.S. and is expanding its global network by offering direct flights between New York/Newark and Malaga, bringing the number of Spanish destinations to five. Starting on May 31, tourists can take three weekly flights on a Boeing 757-200 to visit Spain's Mediterranean coast.
Since 2019 there hasn't been service from New York/Newark on
United Airlines to Stockholm. The airline will use daily flights on a Boeing 757-200 to reacquaint passengers with this capital's vibrant and culturally
rich metropolis. Daily flights on a Boeing 777-200ER from United Airlines to
Rome will begin on May 25. This summer, United will offer non-stop service to
seven well-known European locations, making it the only American airline to do
so from its hub in San Francisco. United still offers more Italian city flights
from the United States than any other airline worldwide, with service to
Rome, Milan, Venice, and Naples.
This summer, United Airlines is adding additional direct,
daily flights on a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to Barcelona from Chicago, extending
its best-in-class European network. With new daily flights from Chicago O'Hare
beginning on May 25, United will increase the number of seasonal flights to Shannon,
Ireland. With its current seasonal service from New York/Newark, United is the
only American airline to operate direct flights to Shannon. In addition, United
provides direct flights from Chicago, New York/Newark, and Washington Dulles to
Dublin. Moreover, United will launch daily flights on a Boeing 767-400ER for
capital-to-capital service between Washington, D.C., and Berlin, Germany. In
addition, United will offer more year-round flights from Newark to 14 European
locations from Chicago than any other airline.
