The US Consulate has announced the schedule
for student visa appointments, detailing important information needed for
students seeking visas for the upcoming season.
Mid-May will mark the start of the first round of appointments, with more becoming available as the season progresses. To guarantee a smooth appointment procedure, the embassy recommended students be prepared.
The US Consulate recently made a video
outlining items that are not allowed in its building. These include cell phones, battery-operated or electronic devices, bags, food or drink items,
cosmetics, sealed envelopes or packages, flammable items, sharp objects,
weapons, long-handled umbrellas, and powders of any kind.
Additionally, visitors are required to carry original government-issued identification with them at all times. Visitors must also ensure the name on their identification corresponds to the name on their appointment.
