The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and
Port Security (ICP) of the United Arab Emirates has said that visit visas may
only be renewed once, for 30 days, and will incur a fee of Dh750.
Regardless of nationality or purpose of visit, this rule applies to all visa holders. The UAEICP smart app can be used to apply for the extension, and the applicant must be present in the nation at the time of application.
Visitors may extend their visas once through the UAEICP for 30 days. A personal colour photo and the original admission permit are
required for the application. The sponsored individual must be present during
the application process, and the passport's validity cannot be less than six
months. Including the issuance price, application charge, smart services fee,
insurance fee, and authority fee, a 30-day visa extension for visiting family
or friends costs Dh750.
To provide a visa to visit a relative or
friend in the UAE, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICP) has
established specified requirements. The visitor must be a friend or relative of
a citizen or resident of the UAE, be able to show confirmation of kinship, and
provide financial guarantees for the visit's intended use. The sponsor's
identifying information must be entered, the necessary documents must be
attached, and there are fees associated with the visa-granting process.
Applications that are insufficiently detailed or incomplete will be rejected
electronically, the ICP advises. The application will be rejected if it is
returned three times.
The ICP provides refunds of application fees via credit card
within six months of application submission or via check or bank transfer for
banks located within the nation with a five-year return period. The smart
application streamlines the process of issuing visit visas and is to the UAE's commitment to electronic services, assuring a quick and easy
process for both visitors and citizens of the UAE.
