Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada IRCC has sent invitations to 1,980 foreign-skilled workers to apply for permanent residency in Canada.
This was the result of a fresh express entry draw conducted on Monday 25th March 2024. The draw came after the first two draws which were conducted on the 12th and 13th of March with different criteria.
Express entry is a method of application management system for different Canadian immigration programs. This includes the Federal Skilled Worker program. Canadian Experience class as well as the Federal Skilled Trades program.
Canada has been conducting a series of draws since May 2023 to attract highly skilled workers to the country. The reports have it that the recent draws are particularly focused on Healthcare occupation, Transport occupation and French language proficiency.
Skilled workers who intend to immigrate to Canada should always pay attention to the IRCC website as Canada is still looking for more skilled workers
