2. Green Visa: A 5-year residency
visa for skilled employees with a minimum salary of AED 15,000, allowing family
sponsorship.
3. Freelancer Visa: For self-employed individuals with a minimum income of AED 7,000
per month, valid for 1 year and renewable for 3 years.
4. Investor Visa: For investors in UAE businesses with a minimum investment of AED 2
million, valid for 3 years and renewable for 2 years.
5. Entrepreneur Visa: For
entrepreneurs and start-up owners with a minimum investment of AED 500,000,
valid for 5 years.
6. Golden Visa: A 10-year residency
visa for exceptional talents with a minimum salary of AED 30,000, allowing
family sponsorship.
7. Student Visa: For students
enrolled in UAE universities with a minimum GPA of 3.5, valid for 1 year and
renewable for 5 years.
8. Retirement Visa: For retirees
aged 55 and above with a minimum income of AED 15,000 per month, valid for 5
years.
9. Tourist Visa: For short-term
visits to the UAE, usually valid for 30 or 90 days.
10. Remote Work Visa: For remote workers employed outside the UAE, allowing them to live and work in the UAE for 1 year, renewable for 2 years.
Note: Requirements and validity periods may vary depending on individual circumstances and UAE regulations.
Additionally, the UAE government has introduced new rules for residence visas, including :
Medical Test: Applicants must undergo a medical test to prove they are medically fit.
Documents: Required documents include a recent coloured personal photo, a copy of the applicant's passport, and a medical fitness certificate.
Extension of Residence Visa: Divorced women and widows can extend their residence visa for one year, renewable only once.
Expiry of Residence Visa: If an expatriate resident continuously lives outside the UAE for more than 180 days, their residence visa will be nullified automatically.
