A group of US airlines, including Delta Air Lines, will enforce stricter face mask policies for passengers and employees' safety amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The stricter policies require every passenger and crew members to put on masks during the period of flight. Passengers who ignore the face covering rule may be banned by the airline from future flights.
American airlines with Delta air lines are very serious about requiring face coverings on their flights.
Delta has released a statement to passengers where it made the new policy and it's importance known; Saying mask is an extension of our safety commitment. Enforcement is a responsibility we must take seriously.
While it's almost impossible to stop the spread of COVID-19, masks provide an important, consistent layer of protection.
We are making passengers aware of our requirements before and during the journey.
"We take our masks requirement just as seriously. That's why passengers are not allowed to board a Delta flight without wearing a mask and must follow crew instructions to properly wear a mask while on board."
"Those who choose not to comply with this or other safety requirements risk future flight privileges with Delta." Delta air lines said in a statement.
