The Federal Government of Nigeria has on Wednesday, September 30 lifted the ban it placed on Emirates airlines.
The Miniter of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika disclosed this via his twitter handle. Sirika said Emirates airlines can now fly into Nigeria after the UAE has agreed to issue visas to Nigerians.
According to him, "UAE has written to state that they agree to issue visas to Nigerians, consequently, the decision has been reached to allow Emirates to fly to Nigeria. Commencement of the Visa issuance is a condition precedent. Please bear with this unusual situation. Many thanks". The minister twitted.
