Seychelles' Third Tourism Festival Holds Between 27 - 29 September 2020.
Being a cross-road island between Africa and Asia, Seychelles has a mixture of Afro-Asian cultures. Its picturesque beauty and culture make it one of the world's centers of tourist attraction.
To raise awareness of the importance of tourism in the country, an annual tourism festival was launched. Seychelles launched her first tourism festival in 2018, which lasted between September 15-22. The pioneering event brought out the various tourist attractions and cultures of the Seychelles people to the world.
The second Seychelles tourism festival was held between September 21-27, 2019. The festival activities involved youths, tourist partners, and stakeholders of Seychelles.
The third Seychelles tourism annual festival is scheduled to hold by September 2020. With the theme "Tourism: Back with confidence," the third tourism festival will begin on September 27 and end on the 29th.
The festival will commemorate significant traditional events in Seychelles. Showcasing the culinary of Seychelles, foods, and beverages competition will also be initiated in the festival.
Another significant and interesting traditional event that will take place during the festival is the spiritual ceremony. The Seychellois people carry out this ceremony to honor local tourism pioneers.
In this year's tourism festival, the Seychelles Tourism Board plans to launch a national centralized tourism platform. This festival will also be used as a platform to showcase various local products.
